Wright ’s work has been featured at MCASD in the past, and its a pleasure to see a positive ongoing relationship between one of the world’s most distinguished artists and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.

Notes on Electronics (Make Me Whole Again) is an iris print from another area altogether of Robleto’s body of work. Though small and discreet in comparison to the intricately constructed room size installations previously at MCASD, it offers comparable conceptual provocation on closer inspection/ Here is the image from the MCASD Art Auction site:

Untitled is another McGinness piece where you have to look closely (and in person) at the marks on the canvas (or in this case, (panel). This is about as far from dashed off decorative abstract painting as you can get, with every edge, sweep and curve precisely laid in miniature landscape with fine detail.
