To celebrate the release of artist Bill Mosley\u2019s first book, VERTICALS | Over San Diego<\/em>, The Frame Maker is hosting a signing event on December 5th, from noon until 3 pm.\u00a0 The exhibition, A San Diego Experience<\/em>, showing Bill\u2019s current work and including images from the book is currently on view through December 24th in our showroom.\u00a0 To celebrate the event the artist is releasing a limited edition print that expresses his love of \u201cAmerica\u2019s finest city,\u201d which will also be available for purchase.<\/p>\n

As a native of San Diego, Bill has always had a strong connection to the physicality of the urban environment.\u00a0 His first downtown studio provided him with the opportunity to paint the views from it\u2019s rooftop.\u00a0 This cemented his interest in the uniqueness of perspectives from well above our usual grounded views.\u00a0 As buildings grew taller downtown, the artist found a fertile ground to explore.\u00a0 The results of that exploration are what is featured in VERTICALS<\/em>.\u00a0 Anyone who has entered our city will find the images immediately recognizable, however the high perspectives reveal a metropolis of rhythm, strength and beauty.\u00a0 The book VERTICALS | Over San Diego<\/em> is available for purchase through The Frame Maker for $40.00 each.<\/p>\n

Mosley has also released a special limited edition print \u201cPoint Loma View\u201d to celebrate the launch of VERTICALS<\/em>.\u00a0 In true artistic fashion the \u201cPoint Loma View\u201d is decidedly horizontal but features San Diego\u2019s vertical skyline in detail contrasted by our bay and East County mountains.\u00a0 It is an image that any San Diegan will love.\u00a0 The print is 2.75\u201d x 10.25\u201d, has an edition of 24 plus artist\u2019s proofs.\u00a0 It is available for $75.00.
