“New Classic” Picture Frames at The Frame Maker

If you didn;t make it down to see us at ArtWalk, you missed our introduction of a new closed-corner, hand carved and crafted classic picture frame manufacturer to San Diego.

We pride ourselves on working with the best to provide you the best when it comes to all aspects of custom picture framing. One of the challenges we have been working and searching to solve is that the almost all of the finest artisans for closed corner frames are on the east coast, which makes working together on custom jobs that much harder for us and that much more expensive for you when it comes to shipping, crating, insurance, etc.

That’s part of why we are proud to introduce Chris Kierkegaard of Santa Barbara to our friends and fans here in San Diego. Here’s a detail shot of some of the beautiful new samples and complete closed corner frames Chris brought down recently, displayed in our booth at ArtWalk.

While Santa Barbara might seem like a haul, it still puts Chris within five hundred miles of San Diego, which both abides by the LEED/green design principle of local origination and makes it far easier and more affordable to put the best of comtemporary frame craftsmanship to work for you.
