WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND:
AN ECO-CHIC FASHION SHOW

Inspired by the exhibition Human/Nature: Artists Respond to a Changing Planet, TNT goes green with a fashion show featuring the best in eco-friendly style by up-and-coming local designers.

Grab a front-row seat to view innovative clothing designs created from sustainable, organic, and repurposed materials by 2DIE4; Anh Q; BELUGA; EXIST1981; Grammatique; RATS; Sally Bee; Sarah Yassine; Something Old, Something New; and Tib Nelson Designs.

Models’ hair and makeup by FRESH: An Urban Hair Salon and runway music provided by Mark E. Quark.

After the show, UCSD’s Visual Arts department kicks off SOMETHING is HAPPENING, a 3-day event featuring immersive artist performances at different locations throughout San Diego (more information is online at http://visarts.ucsd.edu/something-happening). Then, craft your own trash-to-treasure magnetic masterpiece using recycled bottle caps, old magazines, glass stones, and magnets.

Plus, enjoy live performances by Monsters from Mars and Doves & Desperados.

Inspirándose en la exposición Human Nature: Artists Respond to a Changing Planet (Naturaleza humana: Los artistas responden a un planeta en transformación), TNT se pone verde y ofrece un pase de modelos que presenta lo mejor en estilos que respetan el medio ambiente por diseñadores emergentes locales.

Siéntate en primera fila para disfrutar de innovadores diseños de ropa creados con materiales sostenibles, orgánicos y readaptados por 2DIE4; Anh Q; BELUGA; EXIST1981; Grammatique; RATS; Sally Bee; Sarah Yassine; Something Old, Something New; y Tib Nelson Designs. La peluquerí a y maquillaje de los modelos está a cargo de FRESH: An Urban Hair Salon (una peluquerí a urbana), y la música de la pasarela viene de la mano de Mark E. Quark.

Después del show, crea tus propias obras maestras convirtiendo basura en tesoros usando tapas de botella, revistas viejas, piedras de vidrio e imanes reciclados.
